Web Quest

On my search for a Webquest that I will use in class one day, I simply googled Educational Webquests for Elementary students, then searched through several links to investigate which one was the best. I decided on Webquest Examples. On this website I found one webquest that caught my eye about rocks and minerals. I chose this example because it reminded me of activities that I did when I was younger. This webquest sounds interesting and fulfills a lot of the qualities that we talked about in class. For example, the web page has pictures and looks pleasing to the eye and requires the students to work in groups. Also, it requires students to use the internet to find some of their answers which would be fun. This assignment sounds like it could definitely be completed within 1-2 classes as well. I think this one would be entertaining and successful!
