Animoto

The Animoto slide show maker was extremely fun to use. Like several other websites we have already discussed, Animoto is free to sign up with an extra fee for featured items. A few of the featured items include number of videos, video length, and licensed music.  Animoto  will accept JPG, GIF, PNG, TIFF images, which are mostly what I use on a day to day basis. Animoto is efficient because it allows you to upload images from a computer or imported from Facebook, Flickr, SmugMug, Photobucket or Picasa. Animoto would be usesful if you had a lot of images since the maximum file size is 10Mb (about 300 images). Animoto allows you to resize photos and even suggests a certain mega-pixel. In addition, Animoto automatically analyzes music, photos and video clips, and orchestrates a custom video. Leaving you free to focus on the content and narrative of their videos. In another words, this site is pretty self explanatory and simple to use!
