I grew up in Kingsport, Tennessee and attended Dobyns-Bennett High School. I have one older brother and two amazing dogs. I have wanted to be a teacher for several years and recently have felt called to make a difference in the urban school setting. Because of my Education 100 class I believe that I would like to teach K-2nd grade. I previously worked with 5th graders at Lonsdale Elementary and realized I might enjoy interacting with a younger age. I am very luck to hang out with Nathila, my "little" at least twice a month. I feel that I have average computer skills. However, I do feel that I can figure out tech devices/programs with ease and can learn skills quickly. I look forward to learning techniques that will excel my abilities as a future teacher.
